Brandee’s Review of “The Perfect Game”
The Perfect Game was absolutely one of my top reads of 2012! After meeting J. Sterling in Chicago this year I was anxiously awaiting the release of this book and was “HOPING” it was going to be a book that was good enough that I would be able to recommend it to people. WELL, not only was it a book I “could” recommend to people, it ends up that it is a book that I HIGHLY recommend to everyone!
I LOVE when you recommend a book to someone, and then their feedback comes back that they LOVED it as much as you did. The Perfect Game IS ONE OF THOSE BOOKS – that everyone I recommended the book to could only fall in love with it.
One of my favorite parts of a book are the quotes of something a character says. Well, The Perfect Game is filled with these types of quotes and J. Sterling has a merchandise store to sell these items, so if you like these types of quotes from books – then you will love the Merchandise store too!
This book made me laugh, cry, got me so mad that I was basically yelling at my book, but then other times just absolutely melted me and had me sighing 🙂
You know how after you read a book that you were into…..everything seems to remind you of that book? Well, not sure if you know what I am talking about, but this is the kind of thing that happens to me anyway LOL ! Well, a few days after I read the book……someone made a comment about having to pay to touch me……and after you read this book you will understand, BUT – the guy actually handed me $.50…2 quarters…..OK, so usually I would be offended by this type of thing. But instead because The Perfect Game was so in my head, I instead loved it and, of course, immediately had to post to J. Sterling on facebook that just had happened to me. Wanna know what the hell I am talking about??? Go read the book, it will not disappoint!
Amanda’s Review of “The Perfect Game”
I was hooked the moment Cassie started shaking her ass dancing! Then, Jack Carter happened (No Glove No Love). From that moment on, I was hooked. I will never look at another quarter, or fifty cents the same way ever again!! What Jack does with the quarters was the most sweet romantic thing I have EVER read in a book! Jack had his sweet moments and yet his over confident “cocky” moments. He makes your heart beat fast, palms drip of sweat, and gets your body to tingle from head to toe.
The chemistry between Cassie and Jack is mouth watering. Their relationship developed quickly, but with the sexual tension these two had I was HAPPY they came together quick!
I found myself smiling, laughing, screaming, and my mouth hanging open. This story took my emotions on a roller coaster of a ride. I am sad and happy all at the same time to be off that ride.
