Next up for today’s spotlight from the author’s that participated in the DC Author Event this past weekend. Have you read Jennifer Armentrout’s (a/k/a J. Lynn) books yet? Have you had the great honor of meeting her yet? This past year I have been able to see her several times at many events that I have attended. Every time, you just have to love her more….. I brought my 11 year old son to YA Fest a couple of weeks ago and even he was impressed with Jennifer! Not only is she talented, but just a great down-to-earth lady!

In my round of “Author Speed Dating” I asked a series of the same three questions to each author.

Question 1: If you could be a character in one of the author’s books that are here, which one would you be and why?

Jennifer chose “Anna” in Wendy Higgins’ “Sweet Evil” —- the reason: “because Kaidan is HOT!” Works for ME!

(apparently Jenn and Wendy have a thing for each other’s characters…. Wendy said Layla from Jenn’s White Hot Kiss in her interview).

Question 2: If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title would be?

“She Done Good” – LOL I love it and I think I HAVE to agree!

Last but not least (this one seemed to stump mostly everyone):

Question 3: You are invited to a large cocktail party at a country club. When you arrive, the room where the party is being held is already over half full of people. How do they react to you when you enter the room?

Jenn seems to think that there reaction would be “about time you got here!!!”

Now, whether that means she is typically late OR the party can’t “officially” start till she gets there, OR maybe a little bit of both, I am not absolutely sure. But, if I was waiting on her to get there with me, I would certainly be ready for her to be there already!
