Fever has the perfect blend of romance and erotica.  I love a romance story and this has plenty of it without making it only reading sex scene after sex scene (not that there is anything wrong with that).  Fever is H-O-T and I LOVED it!!!  Make sure to enter to win a Paperback of FEVER at the bottom of this page!

This is my first post including music …. I only think it is appropriate!  During the time I was reading this book, I thought several times about Peggy Lee’s version of Fever and would find myself humming it.  Only when I looked it up on YouTube did I find this perfect version of Beyonce’s as it adds a new verses, which has to be about Jace and this series!

He’s so sweet ~ He’s so good to me ~ He’s so intelligent ~ He’s so confident ~ My baby, so very sexy ~ My baby put the fever on me, uh uh ~ My baby knows just what to do ~ Got me boiling past 102 ~ Give me a fever. . .Oh. .

So, I start with JACE …. he gives me a FEVER!  I knew this book sounded more of my type of book than Rush!  If you read my review of Rush, you will know that it took till the end of the book for Gabe to win me over.  Even though Jace also has a dominant type personality, I was more ok with it for whatever reason and he won me over early on in the book.  I guess because you see his SWOON-WORTHY sides before he pulls anything that would turn me off… so he had already won me over and I felt like I had a FEVER!  Jace is that SEXY alpha male with a dominant personality, but also has a very caring, sweet, protective and sensitive side.  The only negative about Jace is he has a temper and when he is upset he speaks without thinking and not meaning what he is saying, but who is not guilty of that ever happening?

You give me fever ~ Fever when you kiss me ~ Fever when you hold me tight ~ Fever in the evening ~ Fever all through the night ~ Fever when you’re with me ~ Fever when you love. . .

My husband joked with me saying “ok, go read your soft porn” I started laughing at him and told him “well, you may change your mind about it being soft porn if you read the first 30 pages when ………. (warning this part may be a little uncomfortable for some readers, but with Jace and Ash’s history of “sharing” women, you would have to expect something to happen).  But, Jace knows right from the very start that this time things are different….Bethany is different….

Never know how much I love you ~ Never know how much I care ~ When you put your arms around me ~ I get the fever that’s so hard to bare

I really liked Bethany too, of course, because of her background and past she is a bit insecure and has low self-esteem, but overall she is a strong, loyal and independent woman.  Bethany does not feel she is worthy of a man like Jace, and it will be up to Jace to make her see…..

“Maybe I want to be someone I can be proud of” she whispered.

He squeezed her and then slowly put her back on the ground again.  “One day you’ll see you like I see you, baby. If it’s the last thing I do, I’m going to make it happen.”

I had high expectations for this book and Fever DID NOT DISSAPPOINT!  I can’t wait to hear what you think about this book and series.
