Let me just start off by saying I LOVE TARA SIVEC! Not only as the AMAZING lady that she is, but that her writing. Many of you know Tara from her Chocolate Lovers and Playing With Fire series……if you have not read these books yet, I highly recommend that you do. It is so great to see that Tara can switch gears with her writing and she has shown us this past year. First up was her Chocolate Lovers Series…..need a laugh….read those books, they had me laughing out loud! Next up was Tara dabbling into a Romantic Suspense with the Playing With Fire Series, if you like a love story with steam and lots of twists and turns, A Beautiful Lie is where you should go.Death changes everyone. It changes the way you think, the way you feel and the way you live your life. Sometimes it makes you thankful for what you have, but more often than not, it makes you regret the things you’ve lost.NOW, Tara switched to this more serious topic and wrote a deep story that tugged at my heart and brought tears to my eyes with the emotions and loss that Addison was left to deal with. The way the story is told, you can tell that it was written from Tara’s heart and mind and appears to be very personal to her. While this was a more emotional/spiritual book, Tara could still make me smile and laugh in her story-telling and I did not want to put this book down (it was a one-day read for me). I loved the characters and this story…. I highly recommend you go grab it! So, your question may be “Did Tara pull this one off?” ….. my answer is “She nailed it!”. I can’t wait to see what Tara has up next for me, I will read anything that she writes!
