Brandee’s Review:

The time has finally come…… we now finally have Ash’s story and the conclusion of The Breathless Trilogy! 

I have to say that Burn turned out not quite like I expected.  First, it certainly did not start off as quickly (with a bang – wink wink) as Fever did.  Don’t get me wrong, I do not need sex in my books in the very first pages LOL – but I will let you know that you will have to wait a little while to get into anything steamy.  I actually enjoyed that this round as I can get tired of reading the same things all the time.

Another great thing about this book is that I could not predict what was going to happen in the storyline, so expect some surprising twists and turns until the very end of this story.

The characters in each of this series were certainly interesting and each had their own identity and story.  Maya did a great job in tying all the books together and wrapping the series up with Burn.  What surprises me about this series is each book had a totally different feel to it.  While there are those that loved the first book and liked that better than the second and others that loved the second book and did not really enjoy the first as much.  I find this reasoning that each storyline and the personalities of each man will appeal to different readers – that is always fun… who is your favorite….Gabe, Jace or Ash?  (make sure to let me know… actually, maybe I will take a poll!)

One of the things that I really enjoyed in this series is that each book can be read as a stand-alone, BUT all connect together with all the crossover of characters in each book.  If you do plan on reading this series, definitely begin with Book #1 Rush!  So, now that Gabe and Jace have found their happily ever afters….is it Ash’s turn next?  Pick up this series to find out!
